That is where our free collection and courtesy car options come in. We can arrange to collect the car when you book a service or repair, and may be able to lend a courtesy car while the work is done. Both are subject to availability, eligibility and booking conditions, so we confirm them with you at the time of booking.
Yeading has a mix of driveways and street parking, and both can be dealt with. Tell us where the car is kept and what is wrong, and we will see if we can arrange free collection for the booking. It is intended for people with no practical way to get the car to us, such as drivers who are working, caring for others or worried the car is unsafe to move. We explain the fault after inspection, recommend the work and give a clear estimate before repairs begin. Collection depends on availability and eligibility, so it is worth asking about early.
A courtesy car is about keeping your week intact. It is subject to availability, and we do not offer one with every job, but it is well worth asking about when the repair might take more than a short visit. Let us know what you use the car for, whether that is shifts, nursery runs or visiting family, and we will say what we can do. Also ask about the conditions of use, who may drive it and how it should be returned, so there are no surprises when you collect your own vehicle.
Before you confirm, ask four things. First, can your car be collected, and what would make it ineligible? Second, is a courtesy car available on your dates? Third, what booking conditions apply to each? Fourth, how will your car be returned and when will we ring you with the estimate? Writing the answers down helps, especially if someone else will be home when the car goes or comes back. We are happy to go over the details twice.
