Yeading sits right next to Hayes, so local drivers can bring cars, vans and bikes to us for EBC brake parts, upgrades and a proper check of the whole system.
Most of Yeading is made up of 1930s and post-war housing, with some homes on driveways and plenty of cars parked on the street. Vehicles that sit outside in all weather can develop rusty discs and seized callipers, even when they do not cover big mileages.
That is one reason we like to look at the whole braking system rather than just the pads. MTS Garage Services supplies and fits EBC brake parts for cars, vans, 4x4s and motorbikes, and we give you a clear estimate before we start any work.
A car that spends most of its life on the street can end up with discs that are rusted unevenly, especially if it is only used for short trips. Pads can also stick to the carrier. When we carry out brake pad replacement or brake disc replacement, we check how the old parts have worn, because the pattern tells us a lot. From there we suggest EBC pads and discs suited to the vehicle and your use of it, then supply and fit them ourselves.
Upgrading is a choice, not a necessity. A driver who tows with a 4x4, runs a van at full load, enjoys a sports car or rides a motorcycle regularly may want a more robust setup, and EBC offers options such as sports brake pads and drilled or grooved discs for a range of models. We will explain what is available and be straight with you if your driving does not call for it. We do not promise stopping distances. We just make sure the parts match the vehicle.
Before we fit anything we look at the discs for thickness and condition, the callipers and slides to see that they move easily, the hoses for cracks or bulges and the fluid for age and moisture. Brake fluid replacement matters because old fluid can weaken the pedal feel and damage internal parts. Fitting is the final piece: clean surfaces, correct assembly and a road check afterwards. If we find something that needs doing, we explain it and put the cost in writing for you to agree first.
Yeading runs alongside Yeading Brook and borders Hayes itself, so our Chesterfield Way garage is close for most residents. We also welcome drivers from Northolt, Hillingdon and Southall. If your car has been standing for a while, or the brakes feel rough when you set off, call us and we will find a time to inspect them. Bring any paperwork you have about previous brake work, as it helps us see what has already been replaced.
We also help drivers with EBC performance brakes from nearby Hayes, Northolt, Hillingdon, Southall, and the garage in Hayes is the base for all of it.

“Always very friendly and knowledgeable and go the extra mile to get you up and running!”
A light rub after sitting is common because surface rust forms on the discs and clears after a few stops. If the noise stays, or the car pulls, have it checked, as a seized calliper may be the cause.
We supply and fit EBC brakes and accessories, and we are an independent garage working on all makes and models. We are not an official EBC dealer. Ask us about your vehicle and we will explain what we can offer.
Check your vehicle handbook, as makers set different intervals, often measured in years rather than miles. We can test the fluid condition during a brake inspection and advise if it is due.
